TREATMENT INFORMATION

  • Your patient journey starts with a chat by phone – or email – to discuss your treatment objectives and the results you are looking to achieve.

We then arrange an in-depth consultation with Dr Paris in clinic, to assess your skin and decide the optimal treatment choices for you.

Virtual consultations are also possible, with the reassurance that we always then assess you in person before undertaking any treatment, to get a clear understanding of your unique skin and facial structure.

When creating your treatment plan, the goal is long-term, sustainable improvements for your skin and overall wellbeing, with continuous care throughout your time with us. The initial consultation helps us ascertain the best options for you, whether that's simply popping in for occasional medifacials or entrusting us with longer term facial rejuvenation.

You'll be able to ask any questions and, particularly if you are considering injectables for the first time, we'll make sure you are fully informed and comfortable with all the options. In short, you're in safe hands and we'll guide you through, led by how you're hoping to feel after treatment.

The range of aesthetic treatments can be overwhelming so we're here to advise you on the best path for you and there is never any pressure to book treatment.

[DON'T USE HERE? At Ardour, we take a 360-degree, personalised approach to help you look and feel your best. With decades of experience in medical aesthetics and state-of-the-art technology - including 3D skin analysis and medical-grade treatments - treatment is tailored to your specific needs, to ensure best possible results.]

  • Mesotherapy can be used on skin on the face, neck and rest of the body to instantly improve common skin issues, such as dull, dehydrated or tired skin, fine lines & wrinkles, under eyes, acne scarring, pigmentation, rosacea and general signs of ageing. It can also help to recontour, rehydrate, smooth, tighten and generally rejuvenate skin. Mesotherapy is also used to treat hair loss, cellulite and for fat removal.

A popular choice for people looking for a quick, safe, effective treatment, mesotherapy achieves results within a week and which last a few months. Created as a medical treatment in Paris in the 1950s, it also remains a favourite for those looking for a long-established, proven treatment, rather than the latest development in aesthetics.

  • Mesotherapy works by using a device with ultrafine needles to comfortably deliver a cocktail of potent ingredients into the 'mesoderm' - the middle layer of the skin, ie below the skin barrier. This blend of ingredients is tailored to your skin and may include vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid.

Infusing the skin in this way rejuvenates, hydrates and nourishes the superficial layers, improves blood flow, flushes out toxins and also stimulates collagen and elastin in the skin's upper dermis, helping to boost skin elasticity and to treat dull, dry, pigmented and ageing skin.

  • To reduce the risk of bruising, we advise you to avoid:

    • Aspirin, ibuprofen & Omega-3 supplements for 2 days before

After treatment, we advise you to:

    • not apply makeup for at least 3 hours

  • Some mild redness and tight sensation for 2 - 3 hours is common after a mesotherapy treatment.

  • Typically you will notice that your skin is more radiant and vibrant the week after mesotherapy, then continue to see further improvements.

A single treatment will give visible improvements to the skin for around 3 months.

Regular treatments are recommended to maintain optimal results.

  • Results from mesotherapy may last for several months although this depends on your skin and if we are treating a specific issue.

We normally recommend a course of treatments to begin with, followed by maintenance sessions every 3 to 6 months to help maintain results.

frequently asked questions

  • A mesotherapy facial is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment which involves injecting a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other natural ingredients - often hyaluronic acid - into the 'mesoderm' ie middle layer of the skin. A device containing ultra fine needles is used to comfortably deliver the infusion into the skin.

At Ardour, we have a couple of mesotherapy options, notably our luxury 24-carat gold facial device that delivers a personalised blend of ingredients into the skin via 20 hair-fine micro-channels.

Mesotherapy was first developed in France in the 1950s to rejuvenate skin at cellular level. It stimulates collagen and elastin production, and addresses most common skin concerns, including lines & wrinkles, dull or dehydrated skin, pigmentation, acne scarring.
