EXOSOME THERAPY

As a pioneer in the field of regenerative aesthetics, Dr Paris was one of the first in the UK to introduce polynucleotides and subsequently after detailed research exosome therapy. Exosomes fundamentally reprogram your skin cells to continuously repair themselves, delivering lasting rejuvenation instead of temporary, surface-level results. Considered a game-changer in skin care and regenerative medicine, exosomes have a unique ability to promote cellular communication and healing at a deeper level.

These tiny vesicles are released by cells, including stem cells, that carry growth factors and proteins to help reset cellular activity and promote healing. This enables them to stimulate fibroblasts (for collagen and elastin synthesis), improve hydration, reduce inflammation and enhance tissue repair, revitalising skin, improving tone, texture, and reducing fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and sun damage. Exosomes are suitable for all skin types and also improve scalp and hair health, making them a powerful treatment for all-round rejuvenation.

At Ardour we use purasomes sourced from bovine colostrum, which has long been used by humans for health benefits including boosting immunity and improving gastrointestinal health. The colostrum is harvested from organic grass fed cattle within 1-5 hours after parturition, it is purified and undergoes a specialised dehydration process to maintain its integrity at room temperature. The end product consists of 20 billion exosomes and 20 of the most potent growth factors to effectively reinforce skin integrity, stimulate collagen, decrease excess melanin production and exert an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.

TREATMENT INFORMATION

  • Your patient journey starts with a chat by phone – or email – to discuss your treatment objectives and the results you are looking to achieve.

We then arrange an in-depth consultation with one of our team, to assess your skin and decide the optimal treatment choices for you.

Virtual consultations are also possible, with the reassurance that we always then assess you in person before undertaking any treatment, to get a clear understanding of your unique skin and facial structure.

When creating your treatment plan, the goal is long-term, sustainable improvements for your skin and overall wellbeing, with continuous care throughout your time with us. The initial consultation helps us ascertain the best options for you, whether that's simply popping in for occasional medifacials or entrusting us with longer term facial rejuvenation.

You'll be able to ask any questions and, we'll make sure you are fully informed and comfortable with all the options. In short, you're in safe hands and we'll guide you through, led by how you're hoping to feel after treatment.

The range of aesthetic treatments can be overwhelming so we're here to advise you on the best path for you and there is never any pressure to book treatment.

  • Exosome treatments offer a natural and non-invasive approach to improving - and possibly transforming - your skin health, enabling them to:

    - Promote healing and regeneration
    - Stimulate collagen and elastin production
    - Enhance skin texture, tone and elasticity, and
    - Target deeper layers of the skin for rejuvenation

This makes them highly effective in treating a wide range of skin concerns, such as:

    - fine lines & wrinkles
    - volume loss
    - acne scars
    - sun damage
    - uneven skin tone
    - hyperpigmentation
    - lack of radiance
    - inflammatory conditions such as rosacea
    - hair thinning and loss

Since exosomes work on a cellular level, they suit people seeking a more advanced, natural approach to skin rejuvenation, compared to traditional treatments, and those looking for subtle, progressive and long-lasting results. Results develop gradually over several weeks as the exosomes stimulate your body's natural cellular processes.

Exosomes also offer preventative benefits, as well as in treating existing skin issues, making them popular with people in their early 30s and older.

  • Exosomes work as powerful messengers that transfer regenerative signals directly to ageing or damaged skin cells. Derived from stem cells, these nano-sized vesicles deliver concentrated growth factors, anti-inflammatory cytokines, and regulatory proteins that stimulate collagen production, enhance cellular repair, and reduce inflammation. When applied during microneedling or injected into the skin, exosomes penetrate deeply to reprogram recipient cells, promoting improved hydration, elasticity, and accelerated healing.

Exosomes offer results similar to stem cell treatments without using actual cells, providing a safer approach with fewer complications. Their microscopic size allows for deeper penetration than traditional products, while their comprehensive mix of bioactive molecules addresses multiple aspects of aging simultaneously.

This makes exosome therapy effective for treating fine lines, texture irregularities, scarring, and overall skin quality with minimal downtime and increasingly popular in advanced aesthetic treatments.

Exosomes can be administered into the skin through topical application or, for enhanced penetration, combined with treatments like microneedling.

  • Preparation and after care advice for exosomes will depend on how they are administered into your skin.

In general, after treatment we recommend you:

    • don’t apply makeup for 24 hours

    • avoid extreme temperatures for 1 week (eg sauna, steam room, hot climates)

    • avoid sun exposure for 1 week

  • Some mild redness, peeling and a tight sensation for 2 - 3 hours is common after exosome treatment.

  • Typically you would see optimal results from exosomes at around 12 weeks, after a course of 3 treatments.

Exosomes continue being active in skin for around six to eight months post-treatment, meaning ongoing improvements to skin quality, for up to 9 to 12 months.

  • Typically you would have a course of 3 exosome treatments, with further treatment to maintain results at 9 to 12 months.

frequently asked questions

  • Exosomes are microscopic vesicles derived from stem cells that function as powerful regenerative messengers between cells. In short, they wake up your skin's repair function. These tiny structures contain a concentrated oad of growth factors, cytokines, messenger RNA, and proteins that stimulate the skin's natural healing processes, accelerating cellular repair, reducing inflammation, boosting collagen production, and enhancing overall skin quality. Their nano-size allows them to penetrate deeply into the skin, making them effective delivery vehicles for beneficial compounds that larger molecules cannot transport.

Exosomes offer an advanced approach to skin rejuvenation by offering stem cell benefits without using actual cells, creating a safer ""cell-free"" therapy with powerful regenerative effects. They're typically applied after treatments like microneedling or radiofrequency to enhance results, or used in mesotherapy-style treatments to address concerns including fine lines, texture irregularities, scarring, and hyperpigmentation. Their ability to simultaneously address multiple aspects of skin aging through a comprehensive mix of bioactive molecules has made them increasingly popular in high-end aesthetic treatments for patients seeking advanced regenerative solutions with minimal downtime.

  • Exosomes are suitable for all skin types.

  • We fully cleanse skin before any treatment so it is fine for you to wear makeup to the clinic.

We advise that you avoid applying makeup for at least 24 hours post-exosome treatment.
